Job Details

We are seeking an experienced PHP programmer with strong WordPress development skills to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PHP and WordPress, as well as a proven track record of developing and maintaining complex WordPress websites.

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet client requirements
• Migrate existing websites to WordPress
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect client websites
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with WordPress websites
• Work with other team members to ensure the timely delivery of projects
• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress development best practices
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Equivalent work experience in PHP and WordPress development may be considered in lieu of a formal degree

2-3 years of professional experience in PHP and WordPress development

• Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins
• Experience migrating websites to WordPress
• Experience with website security and troubleshooting technical issues
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Track record of delivering high-quality, well-documented code
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)

• Strong portfolio demonstrating previous PHP and WordPress development work
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes
• Strong customer service skills and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
